Refund and Returns Policy

Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA)

All returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number before shipping. To obtain an RMA number, contact Boltek Customer Service by phone, fax, or email with the following information:

  • The model number of the unit to be returned
  • The serial number of the product and, if requested, the original invoice number
  • The reason for the return (repair under warranty or repair out of warranty)
  • A satisfactory method of payment for eventual charges

Upon issuance of an RMA number, the unit(s) must be returned freight pre-paid with the RMA number clearly marked on the outside of the shipping carton. Products received without an approved RMA number will be refused.

Warranty Returns

Boltek warrants the original purchaser that for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of shipment, the product shall be free of defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. During the warranty period, Boltek will repair or replace any defective product at no charge for labour and materials, or refund the purchase price, at Boltek’s sole option.

Out-of-Warranty Repairs

All out-of-warranty repairs carry a minimum evaluation charge and will be charged at Boltek’s current hourly rate. Upon receipt, Boltek will evaluate the unit and either:

  • Inform you of the problem and estimated repair charges, and with your approval, repair and return the unit
  • At your request, return the unit unrepaired

Refunds

All orders are subject to acceptance by Boltek and no sales are final until shipped. Cancellation charges may apply to cancelled or modified orders. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed to the original method of payment.

Customer Responsibilities

  • All products must be shipped prepaid to Boltek at the customer’s expense
  • Products must be in original packaging where possible
  • If no defect is found during evaluation, a minimum charge may be applied
