Custom Background Maps
StormTracker may be run without a background map, but most people find the display to be much more useful and interesting with a map. You can make your own map using a paint program such as Windows Paintbrush or order a set of maps from us. Maps are stored as MAP (Boltek's vector format) or BMP files for the Windows software. Several sample maps are provided with the StormTracker system to get you started if you plan to make your own map.
Custom Background Map Package - $69.00
Our Background Map Package includes maps for the 100, 200 and 300 mile ranges for both the DOS software (PCX format) and Windows software (MAP vector format.) Please specify city and county or latitude and longitude (if known). Your maps will be custom made, centered on your location.
